 Toontastic is a powerful literary tool that supports young learners’ creative thinking. Children create mini cartoon movies by choosing characters, determining a setting, developing a plot and then recording dialogue. A story arc supports the development of more complex story lines by leading children through the different parts of a story; conflict, challenge, climax and resolution. Our only qualm is that you can’t replay individual scenes before you finish your cartoon. Otherwise, a great app for the budding cartoonist or playwright.
