Particle Zoo

Interested in particle physics? Maybe, but I just like knowing that there is a cool woman out there who creates subatomic particle plush toys.  Really.  This app uses her toys as images for each particle (discovered and theoretical).  This app is just a list of subatomic particles with their properties and a bit of history/context, along with a link to wikipedia and a link to purchase the plush toys.  Yep, we’re geeks.

Skills:  Names of subatomic particles
Cost:  Free
Platform:  iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad
Grades: Middle School
