The beautiful Star Walk app is what every app maker should aspire to.  Of course space inherently provides gorgeous images, wonder and endless quests for knowledge, but it is the rare app that captures and makes use of these so well.  You can hold your iPhone / iPod / iPad in your hand and it will show  you what you are looking at (or would be without city light pollution or cloudcover).  As much as we like to leave technology at home when we go camping, this is one app to bring with you.  It has Night Mode so you don’t ruin your night vision.  You will say wow a lot when you use this app.
