SuperWhy!

A PBS kids app for basic early reading – just simple and straightforward.  Your child might not know all the answers, but they will easily know what to do and won’t get frustrated.  There are a few different games ask you to choose the correct letter (for spelling), word (for rhyming or sentence completion).  Earn stickers at each step.  This must be used with the sound on, and there is constant music.  And there is an awful lot of positive reinforcement, but our kids were engaged.  Note that there is an opportunity to practice making letter shapes with your finger, but there is no correction of errors for that or help with direction.  Princess Presto and the other characters appear multi-ethnic, which is nice.
