Get a short new educational movie each day that comes with a quiz on what you just watched.  The BrainPOP app is pretty cool!  It is educational both for knowledge acquisition as well as comprehension. Learn about Thomas Edison, mars, Abraham Lincoln (on Presidents Day), St. Patrick (on St. Patrick's Day) and much more.  Topics include science, social studies, math, English, technology, arts, music, health… The videos aren’t sophisticated, but the information is solid and they are captioned so you can read along.  This is a fun one for the drive to school in the morning as it is pretty good as audio-only, so everyone in the car can learn.
