Spanish Kids – Speak and Learn

Lovely photos make this a visually interesting Spanish vocabulary app for learning vocab relating to the body, people/family, animals and colors.  You are given a variety of photos to look and must choose the one that matches the given word(s).   Each level does a good job of repeating to help with memorization and gets slightly more advanced ( from perro/dog to un perro amarillo / a yellow dog).  You can choose sounds on or off.  With sounds on your pre-reader can use this app.  Note – you do have the option to see the word in English if you don’t know its precise meaning.  There isn’t a hook here, but it is a nice way to be introduced to basic vocab.
